Optical/Infrared Stellar Interferometry

Abstract:
The motivation and science goals of stellar interferometry are
reviewed, the fundamental principles of astronomical interferometry
are described, and the challenges and opportunities of
work in this field are emphasized.
The state of the art in technology and overview of a
typical interferometer are also presented.
