Getting to and around Flagstaff

AMERISUITES FLAGSTAFF INTERSTATE CROSSROADS

  • From the south (Phoenix or Flagstaff airports), go through the I-17/I-40 interchange on I-17; it turns into Milton Road. From the east or west (driving in on I-40): take exit 195 north into Flagstaff on Milton road.
  • Go to the first stoplight, at Forest Meadows St, turn left. Stay in left lane, go one block, turn left at Beulah. The Amerisuites is at the end of the block on your right.


FROM PULLIAUM AIRPORT TO THE AMERISUITES.
Leave the airport and take Interstate 17 north. Drive past the Interstate 40 overpass and into Flagstaff. Get in the left lane, and turn left on Forest Meadows Street. Go one block, then turn left on Beulah Blvd. The Amerisuites will be on your right, just before the next intersection.


FROM PHOENIX TO FLAGSTAFF
Fly to Phoenix and follow the instructions given on the map below. Note one change to the legend on the map: Continental Airlines has entered a code-share agreement with America West and now arrives at Terminal 4. Once you reach Flagstaff on Interstate 17, follow the instructions given above to get to the Amerisuites.


FROM THE AMERISUITES TO LOWELL (2.5 miles)
  • Take Forest Meadows one block east to Milton Avenue.
  • Stay on Milton, in left lane, and go through 5 stoplights (University, South Plaza Way, Riordan, Rt 66, Butler.
  • Just after going under a railroad overpass, get into the left turn lane. Make a sharp left through a moderately confusing intersection onto West Santa Fe.
  • Follow West Santa Fe to where it forks as it starts up a hill. Take the right fork, wind your way up the hill to Lowell. Park in the Steele Visitor Center lot (the first big parking lot you'll encounter).

FROM THE AMERISUITES TO ANDERSON MESA (15 miles)
  • Take Beulah Blvd south, stay in the left lane. Beulah turns into Hwy 89A.
  • Go under the Interstate 40 overpass; there will be lots of construction in the vicinity, as the interchange is being completely rebuilt.
  • Turn left on Lake Mary Road, go about 10 miles.
  • Turn right at the brown NPOI sign. Wind your way up Anderson Mesa. Signs will direct you to the NPOI site.
