Above is a scan of H band fringes obtained internally at the CHARA Array on 29 October 1999. The delay cart was moving at 80 um/s making the fringes go by at 200Hz.

Below is a plot of the power spectrum of the the same data, using the interferometer as a Fourier transform spectrometer. This shows the passband of the H-band filter. On the long wavelength side there are signs of water absorption lines. The SNR is high, so the wrinkles are probably real.
