Fringes from Group Delay Tracking at NPOI

The two frames below show time series of fringes. Each image represents 90 seconds of data, with each time sample spaced at 2 ms. The upper figure shows a single channel as a function of time. An 8-bin algorithm is used at the Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer (NPOI) and the 8 bins are shown as intensities along the vertical direction within each small (horizontal) strip.

The second figure shows a superposition of three channels to simulate a broadband fringe, each channel represents a different color (wavelength) and the colors have been added together.
